We congratulate Dr Clara Wanjura on winning the DPG SAMOP thesis prize. Clara wrote her PhD at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr Andreas Nunnenkamp, a Royal Society University Research Fellow there at the time. Her thesis is Non-Hermitian Topology and Directional Amplification in Driven-Dissipative Cavity Arrays. Currently, Clara is Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light.
